Prom Chapter 3

Chapter 3
“ So how was shopping with your mom??” asked Jesse
“ It was way fun!! And I found the best dress you could ever find!! You need to either have a Yellow tie, or a dark brown one.”
“ I knew it.” he said with a smile on his face.
“ Knew what?” I asked but before he could answer Joey came up to us in the cafeteria, I groaned, I cant believe this! I thought to myself, cant he take no for an answer!?!
He walked over to us and sat down. I stared at him, and turned to Jesse, and motioned for him to go. He stared at me for a minute and shook his head in no. I kissed his check and whispered “ I’ll be just fine, I’ll see you after school.” since it was B-day we didn’t have any classes together, so we just had to talk to each other after school.
“ Joey. So, what’s up?” I asked with as much hatred I could imagine.
“ Woe don’t get ticked Anna, I just wanted to talk to you about.. prom.”
“ Prom? Why? I’m going with Jesse, what more is their to talk about?” I asked with some suspicion
“ Well I know someone else who wants to go with you, and I think you’ll like him a lot more than JESSE….” He made a disgusted sound.
“ Well I’m not just going to dump my boyfriend for someone else no matter who it is.” I said
“ What if it’s me?” He asked
“ Well than I’d have to say HECK-No! You ruined my life!
You put me down when I did something fun and now your asking me to dump my boyfriend! And go to PROM with YOU!! WHATS WRONG WITH YOU!!”
“ WHAT! I never ruined your life! I never put you down! I-”
“ Yes you did and now that I’m happy you think it’s okay to do this!?!” By now we were yelling at each other, and Jesse over hearing was running back to me.
“ What’s going on here?” He asked clearly ticked off with Joey.
“ Joey here just asked me to brake up with you and Go To PROM with HIM! And I don’t know about you but I need to get to class so Jesse before you punch the guy who I’d like to kill, I think we’d better go, and maybe we could go to a movie? C’mon Jesse…”
“ Fine,” he said, “ But if you ever tell her what to do again I will kill you.”
“ Sure you will, you probably won’t be able to reach me. Haha!”
Oh, no I thought
“ Kay Jesse, we need to go now.” I grabbed his arm and dragged him out of the Cafeteria. When we left we practically ran to my car. When we got their we were both laughing, and when we got to my front door I got really mad and it made him stop laughing.
“ WHATS WRONG WITH HIM!! HE ASKED ME OUT!! AFTER EVERY THING HE DID TO ME I-”

Jesse stopped my ranting by kissing me until I got a little dizzy.
“ Lets get out of here…” he said
“ What about our last class??”
“ You got sick and I didn’t want to let you drive home alone….” he smiled and got his phone out to call the school.

When we got to my house I groaned inwardly, I didn’t want to explain to my parents about me being home so early, so me and Jesse started talking about what we’ll do for our day date. We decided to go to the carnival up in Salt Lake.
And we also decided who’s going to be in our group, Emily and Chad Her boyfriend now for a Year and a half, and then Annie and Brian who just got back together.
And then theirs Lisa and Kyle who’ve been together for 5 months. And then the officers and I have our own little picture group.
After a half an hour in my car, we finally left to go inside my house, when we got inside nobody was home so we put on my favorite movie, The Tenth Kingdom!
I love that show so much! I used to watch It all the time! Anyway when the first part of the movie ended me and Jesse decided to go to the park, I don’t know why but the park always clears out our minds. When we got their we went to the swings and held hands while we swung.

“ Anna, what did you tell Joey?” he asked
I sighed and went to the benches, he followed me and sat down next to me.
“ I told him that either way I would not go out with someone else, that I’m happy now and no one in the world would make me brake up with my boyfriend. He asked me what if it was him and then I kind off blew up after that. And I guess you herd the rest.”
He stared at me for a long time,
“ Well,” he said “I didn’t know you liked me that much…”
He smiled and got a peculiar look on his face.
“ What?” I asked very suspiciously
He dragged me over to the spin wheel, and started spinning me. I started laughing and Jesse started to slow it down, when it was to a stop he got on with me. We started to talk about the most random things possible. When it was almost 4:30 it got a little cold.
“ I don’t know about you but I really am getting cold.” I said
We got up and went down to the swans, and then he took me home.
